do you mind my asking of what material you use to make these?
The charms are made of black acrylic with a laminate graphic stuck over the top, it works out better that way because in rare cases where the acrylic may actually break the laminate will hold it together so that you don't actually lose the broken piece in the process. With that said I'm pretty rough with the charms on my backpack so they need to be under a fair bit of stress before they even reach breaking point.
